Goodbye and best wishes for Dr. Hannah Carey

We'll miss you Hannah!

After more than four wonderful years at Beacon Physical Therapy, we are sharing the news that Dr. Hannah Carey will be moving on to a new chapter. She has decided to step away to focus more deeply on her overall well-being and, specifically, to trade her long daily commute for more time closer to home. We will miss her presence in the clinic every day, and at the same time we fully support her decision to prioritize her quality of life.

While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for the time she spent with us. Even before Hannah joined our team in late 2021, we knew she was special. Six years ago she completed her final clinical rotation as a graduate student with us and we loved her.  Then a little thing called “COVID” came along.  As soon as we got our feet back under us we sought her out.  Since then we have had the front-row seat to her incredible growth both as a dedicated professional and as an individual.

During her time here Hannah has completed the intensely challenging process of becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT)™ and has also become a nationally recognized Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).  Beyond these impressive accomplishments of self improvement, she has also been an incredible mentor to many students as well as her colleagues here.

Her impact on Beacon Physical Therapy has been profound. She didn’t just provide care, she built lasting relationships. Her clients know her for her intense dedication, compassion and sometimes tough love all the while maintaining that infectious smile.  Hannah’s ringing laughter could be heard through the whole clinic and her presence has made Beacon a brighter place for everyone who walked through the door.

Hannah, thank you for your hard work, your passion for healing, and for being such a vital part of the Beacon family. We fully support you as you take this time to prioritize your well being, and we wish you nothing but a smooth and restful journey ahead.

You will always have a home here at Beacon!
