Beacon Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider of physical therapy.
As a courtesy for our patients, we will happily verify your out-of-network benefits, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums on your behalf. If your insurance provides out-of-network benefits (PPO-type plans) we will electronically submit insurance pre-certification and claims to your insurance provider.
Once your out-of-network deductible has been reached, your insurance company will reimburse you directly depending on your plan specifics. Reimbursement varies from plan to plan and can be very complicated to understand. We will do our best to help shed light on this. For example, out-of-network benefits for your insurance plan may be 70%, meaning you will be reimbursed 70% of our fees that the insurance company deems reasonable and customary.
Beacon Physical Therapy strives to be available for all people regardless of the level of insurance you have or your personal circumstances. Some insurance companies do not offer out-of-network benefits, and you may not even have health insurance at all. In situations like this, we offer a cash discount allowed by California state law for under and uninsured individuals. If you choose to avail this discount, we will provide a basic receipt that can be used for record keeping, but we cannot provide a Superbill or other breakdown of charges.
